Pathfinder Sketch connects to the Pathfinder plugin on your computer over your own Wi-Fi network. Everything musical — the sounds you trigger, the paths you draw, the audio you monitor — travels directly between your phone and your computer. None of it is sent to us or to any server on the internet.
To understand how the app is used and to catch problems, Sketch sends a small number of anonymous events to a server we operate:
iPhone15,3).These events are tied to a random identifier created on your device. It is not linked to your name, email, Apple ID, phone number, or any other personal information — we couldn't identify you from it if we tried.
Open the unlock screen in the app and switch off "Share anonymous usage stats." That stops all statistics immediately. The app works identically either way.
The Pro unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. The app checks your purchase with Apple's StoreKit system on your device.
Anonymous usage events are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Because events aren't linked to you, there is nothing we could look up by name or email — but if you want the events from your device removed, email us the random identifier shown in the app's diagnostics and we'll delete them.
Sketch is not directed at children under 13 and collects the same nothing-personal from everyone.
