No — they're plain 48 kHz / 32-bit WAVs that load in Ableton, Logic, FL Studio, Bitwig, Reaper, Maschine, MPC or any sampler. Pathfinder just happens to be the most fun way to play them, and it's free.
What's the license?+
Royalty-free for your music, sound design, games and video, commercial or not. The one thing you can't do is resell or redistribute the sounds as samples. Full EULA ships in the kit.
