The problem

Sprite sheets are a flat grid of frames — until something animates them, you're guessing.

✕ Guessing from frames

You can't tell how it moves by staring at a strip.

A 127-frame knob and a 6-frame button look like noise as a static PNG. You only really know it's right when it's spinning at the right speed.

✕ Spin up the whole project

Loading an entire build just to check one asset.

Opening HISE/JUCE, compiling, and wiring a control into the UI — just to see if a sprite plays back correctly — burns hours across a real plugin library.

What it does

Point it at a folder. It catalogs every sprite and plays them all.

🔎

Scans every subfolder

Walks your whole project tree, reads HISE filename patterns (_WxH_Nf), and falls back to a pixel aspect-ratio heuristic — validating that the pixels match the frame count, so only real sheets show up.

▶️

True-speed playback

Every sprite animates at its own pace — a 6-frame button and a 127-frame knob both look right, auto-scaled so nothing strobes.

The whole library at once

A responsive grid of animated cards. Browse hundreds of sprites across every project folder in one window.

🔤

Instant search

Filter by name, project, or path as you type. The grid reflows live — find that one knob in a sea of assets.

🔬

Detail view

Click any sprite for full-size playback, dimensions, frame count, layout, detection method, and the exact file path.

📂

Reveal in Finder / Explorer

Jump straight to any sprite's file or copy its path — on macOS and Windows. Stop hunting through nested project folders.
