Do I need to know C++?
No. HISE uses a JavaScript-style scripting language. If you've written any code in anything, you're fine. I walk through the parts that trip up beginners in the first two modules.
Mac or PC?
Both. HISE runs on both platforms, and every demo in the course is built in a way that exports cleanly to both. The standalone-export module covers the gotchas on each.
When does the course actually ship?
Module 1 on August 1, 2026. One new module every two weeks. Final module on November 1, 2026. You get access the moment each one goes live, and weekly build logs in the meantime.
Can I resell the plugins I build?
Yes — they're yours. The Studio and Label tiers include source projects you can fork, reskin, and ship commercially. Module 8 walks through how to actually get them listed with distributors.
Why pre-order?
Founders' pricing pays for the studio time to record the course properly. You get locked-in pricing; I get the runway to ship. The refund window doesn't even start until the final module is live — if the course doesn't land, you're made whole.
What if I've never made a plugin before?
Good. This course is designed around that starting point. If you've shipped plugins before, skip modules 1 and 2 — but most students haven't, and the first two modules exist to get you moving fast.
Is there a community?
Private Discord, included in every tier. Weekly build-log posts, critique threads, and a channel where I answer questions publicly so everyone learns from each answer. Label-tier members get priority replies.
Do the plugins still work? Where can I get support?
The plugins I've shipped are still supported. Head to
Plugin support for install guides, activation help, and a per-product support link. For course questions, reply to any course email — I read them all.
Will I get a refund if I change my mind?
30 days from the day the final module ships. That means you can go through the entire course before deciding. See
the full refund policy.
