Protect your unreleased music without killing the vibe.
Your beats are valuable. But sending them out always comes with risk - leaks, theft, or disputes over who made what. Ghost Tags lets you embed invisible watermarks directly into your audio files, so you can prove ownership without affecting sound quality.

Audio Watermarking for Producers
Proof of ownership that rides with your audio—not just metadata that can be stripped away.
Simple but powerful
No complex setup. No learning curve. Just drag your files, choose your settings, and you're protected. Your music stays sounding exactly the same, but now it's got your invisible signature embedded inside.
Invisible Watermarks
Completely inaudible protection that can't be removed. The watermarks are embedded using professional audio processing - they're part of the audio itself, not just metadata.
Batch Processing
Watermark entire folders of beats at once. Process hundreds of tracks in minutes, not hours.
Custom Text/CAPTCHA
Add readable text that shows up in spectrograms. Perfect for producer tags, contact info, or copyright notices.
Logo Embedding
Brand your beats with your producer tag. Your logo becomes part of the audio signature.
Full Control
Choose exactly where and how strong the watermarks appear. Position controls let you place watermarks in specific frequency and time ranges.
Proof on Demand
Verify ownership in any spectrogram viewer. Your watermarks are visible to you but hidden from casual listeners.
What's actually happening
Simple Version
Think of it like a whisper: The app adds a super-quiet layer to your track that's shaped like your logo or text. It's so low it blends with the music, so you don't really hear it as "noise."
Works in the spectrogram world: It converts your song into a picture of sound (a spectrogram), gently draws your logo in a spot you choose, then turns it back into audio.
Position controls: You choose where in the "picture" the logo sits—higher/lower frequencies and earlier/later in time.

Hear the Difference
Listen to the same track with watermarks at different strength levels. The watermark is inaudible but provides proof of ownership.
Track: "Particle Collider" by Pyrit Music (120 BPM, G minor)
Why it works
Technical Process
Audio Processing
- Computes Short-Time Fourier Transform (STFT) with Hann window
- n_fft=2048, hop_length=512 for optimal resolution
- Separates magnitude and phase components
- Preserves phase; only magnitude is altered
Watermark Injection
- Watermark energy injected in time–frequency magnitude
- Edge fading reduces artifacts and ringing
- Multiplicative, additive, or hybrid blending modes
- dB mapping: 20 dB ≈ 10× amplitude change
Why it sounds like "noise" (but isn't random)
🎵 Hides under your music
The logo is added where your track already has energy, so the original sound masks it. That's why it's hard to hear but easy to spot in a spectrogram.
🛡️ More durable
A spread-out, noise-like imprint survives exports, uploads, and light edits better than a single tone or obvious effect.
👁️ You can still "see" it
Pull the file into a spectrogram and the logo/text pops visually, even if your ears barely notice it.

Because your music deserves protection that actually works.
Whether you're sending beats to artists, collaborating with other producers, or building a protected beat library, Ghost Tags gives you proof of ownership when you need it most.
Watermark Detection (COMING SOON)

Ghost Tags can detect watermarks too! This feature is still locked while we gage demand for the service, once Ghost Tags reaches 1000 users we will unlock it. Until then, you'll ALWAYS be able to visibily tell if your tag is present. If you think the audio is yours LOOK!
